Castrol Iloform BWS 595
Description
Castrol Iloform™ BWS 595 is a water soluble forming fluid designed specifically for copper wire drawing. It is formulated
with high performance lubricity additives, corrosion inhibitors and emulsifier system, to provide exceptional performance
under extreme drawing conditions.
Iloform BWS 595 is boron, chlorine and heavy metal free.
Application
Iloform BWS 595 provides outstanding performance for the high speed drawing of copper and copper alloy wires.
The product is suitable for medium and rod breakdown applications.
Conditions of Use
Concentration range - medium wire: 3 - 5%
Concentration range - rod breakdown: 8 - 12%
Advantages

additives, boron or heavy metals.
Flexibility. Use at different dilutions can lead to product rationalisation.
Contains high performance lubricity and anti wear additives. Maximises die life and provides excellent surface
finish. Minimises costs associated with down time and die repolishing.
Provides a high quality stable emulsion which maintains a high level of machine cleanliness, leading to lower
machine down time and maintenance costs, and a high level of operator acceptance.
Low foam characteristics, even at high pressures and flow rates, leads to increase production rates.
Excellent filtering characteristics and emulsion stability extend product life and lower productconsumption
