Description

Castrol Iloform™ PL 17 ZM is a low viscosity, neat forming oil containing a blend of high performance lubricity additives

and an advanced corrosion inhibitor package.

Iloform PL 17 ZM is free of solvent, chlorine and heavy metals, such as Barium.

Application

Iloform PL 17 ZM is a metalworking fluid specifically designed for processing metal sheet, particularly used as a coil and

blank washing fluid for production of automotive outer skin panels and components.

Iloform PL 17 ZM is fully compatible with the full variety of steel coatings, washer arrangements and wringer roller

composites used within a modern automotive pressing operation. It is suitable in all coil- and blank washing equipment

conceived for the processing of oils.

Iloform PL 17 ZM is specifically designed to meet the general requirements associated with the standard VDA 230-213

“Prelube 2” (without Item 5.6 "Frictional Properties") and is fully compatible for use with steel mill applied Prelubes and

Prelube 2, such as Castrol Iloform™ PL 62 ZM.
